of Secure Consulting Engineers
The Secure
Engineering group of companies was started in May 1999 by Dr. Howard
A. Perko to provide structural & foundation engineering design
services. The companies have grown as a result of dedicated,
personable engineers providing clients with fast project turn-around
and high quality engineering services. Today, SECURE has
completed over 900 projects, worked in eight states, and operates
from two office locations, Fort Collins, Colorado, and Denver,
Colorado.
SECURE provides foundation and
structural engineering design services to residential, commercial,
and industrial market sectors. To date, the company's
residential experience includes new foundation design and diagnostic
work for single-family home owners as well as large custom home and track
home builders. We've provided foundation and framing design
for log and timber frame homes and small projects including barns
and garages. Some of our largest nationally recognized clients
include US Home and Toll Brothers.
Our commercial experience includes
work on many types of construction including reinforced concrete,
timber frame, steel frame, brick/masonry, and pre-cast panel
buildings. In the last year, some of our key projects include
a 16,000 sq. ft. building in Fort Collins, CO, a 6,000 sq. ft.
masonry building in Berthoud, CO, a 6-story apartment complex in
Manhattan, NY, and consultation on a 23-story condominium tower in
Miami, FL.
Our industrial experience in the
last year includes the design of temporary construction shoring for
underground transformer vaults at Consolidated Edison in Manhattan,
NY, an MSE retaining wall for Reliance Federal Credit Union in
Casper, WY, marina shoreline and slope stability at North Sterling
Reservoir in Sterling, CO, and shoreline erosion control along Lake
Superior in Duluth, MN.
